1. Website use
You may use this website for lawful information and business-enquiry purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt the site, gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, copy protected material unlawfully or use content in a misleading way.
2. Consultations, proposals and scope
Initial consultations and recommendations are based on the information available at the time. A service begins only when scope, fees, responsibilities and commencement arrangements are agreed. Work outside the approved scope may require a revised quotation or additional fee.
3. Fees, advertising spend and payment
- Fees, deposits, billing frequency and payment dates are stated in the accepted proposal or invoice.
- Advertising spend paid to Google, Meta or another platform is separate from E Lanka Solution's management fee unless expressly stated otherwise.
- Third-party costs such as hosting, domains, premium software, stock assets or licences may be charged separately with approval.
- Work may be paused when an overdue payment or required approval prevents reasonable progress.
4. Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, lawful content, required access, timely feedback and approvals. The client confirms it has permission to use supplied text, images, trademarks, customer data and other materials. Delays in access, content or approvals may affect timelines.
5. Website projects and revisions
Website deliverables, milestones and included revisions are defined in the project scope. Approval of a stage allows work to proceed. Requests that materially change functionality, content volume, integrations or design direction may be treated as additional scope.
6. Marketing platforms and performance
SEO rankings, advertising costs, platform approvals, traffic, enquiries and sales are influenced by competition, budgets, client offers, website quality and third-party algorithms. E Lanka Solution will apply professional strategy, execution, tracking and optimisation, but platform behaviour and market outcomes remain outside any agency's complete control.
7. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed, the client receives rights to final paid deliverables created specifically for the project. E Lanka Solution retains ownership of pre-existing methods, reusable code, frameworks, templates, know-how and internal tools. Third-party software, fonts, plugins, media and platforms remain subject to their own licences.
8. Confidentiality, data and portfolio use
Each party should protect confidential information received for the project. Personal data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy. Client names, logos, testimonials or confidential results should be published only with appropriate permission.
9. Suspension, cancellation and handover
Cancellation, notice periods, refunds and handover obligations follow the accepted proposal or service agreement. Amounts due for completed work, committed third-party costs and approved work in progress remain payable. Access or files may be handed over after outstanding obligations are settled.
10. Liability and third-party services
To the extent permitted by applicable law, E Lanka Solution is not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, platform outages, third-party policy changes, account suspensions caused by client activity, malware introduced after handover, or services controlled by external providers. Any specific liability terms in a signed agreement take priority.
11. Governing law, contact and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. We may update these terms to reflect changes in services, technology or legal requirements. Continued website use after an update is subject to the revised version.
